Check out the schedule of available merit badges and other activities here. Make your plans for what you want to do each of the 4 sessions (maybe the Nth Hour too) and have that ready when you register.
T-shirts are also available for pre-order. They are $15 for Adult Small - XL. 2XL is $17 and 3XL is $18.
Just to keep all of the info in one place, here are the bullets I sent out in email on 3/31:
- Camp Eastman is across the river from Keokuk in Illinois
- The early bird cost for scouts is $305 if the money is in your Scoutbuck account by 4/28 ($330 after)
- We will leave at 9am (pack a sack lunch), July 10th and return around 10am, July 16th
- There are separate classes focusing on 2nd Class & 1st Class ranks
- The 9 scouts that camped the last weekend in March got to see the camp along with 8 scouts that camped there last summer. Ask them what they thought of the layout and opportunities at the camp.
- Scouts that already have Swimming MB should take advantage of the river access
- Unless you sign up for Cooking MB, you won't have to cook. Breakfast & Lunch are grab-and-go. You can eat in the dining hall if you want. Supper will be a buffet line and salad bar in the dining hall.
- Gaga pit, giant chess, basket ball, volley ball & soccer available
- 9 hole disc golf course
- We'll be in Woodcraft campsite. This is one of the closer ones and where we stayed in 2018 & 2019.
- New this year, Monday night bonfire party at the waterfront & Friday night beach party luau.
Please make note again of the Early Bird Rate of $305 for the camp fee if you sign up here and have at least that much money in your scoutbucks account by 4/28/22.
